So when I was writing All This Nothing, I somehow ended up making Cinnamon Toast Crunch a reoccurring character; Syd eats it with eggnog multiple times throughout the story. At the time of writing, it was all theoretical. It sounded like it would be pretty good, but I had never tried them together.

Until breakfast today...holy fuck. I realized that I had an unopened container of (unspiked) eggnog approaching its date and I needed all the happy brain chemicals I could get this morning. I giggled with every bite. This could not be better. 10/10 highly recommend.

Jax Theory

So, we all know that on his car, the number plate was Jax.001. APPARENTLY, in blender, .001 is automatically put on the file when you duplicate/copy something.

And Jax doesn’t seem to even question it. Maybe he doesn’t know what it means, but maybe he does…

He’s the only person who’s never explicitly showed disdain for being in the circus. He actively enjoys the adventures and he actively keeps himself entertained all the time… with other people. He’s upset at the mention of Kaufmo’s funeral. He clearly cares about the others, somewhere in his heart. He’s nearly always around the others, we rarely see him not interacting with them in some way, or at least being in their company.

In episode 4, he’s genuinely freaked out at the thought of punishment, but why? It’s not like he’s gonna be executed by firing squad or anything.

But if he’s a COPY of a real version of himself that possibly DIED or got accidentally DELETED or WHATEVER. Oh, that changes everything…

It would be extremely easy for Caine to just decide he doesn’t want to put up with his antics anymore and put a Gummigoo-style farewell to him. Especially, now that Gangle has reminded him that he CAN do that, if he pleases.

It would also make sense as to why he’s so content being stuck with everyone in the circus. Because he CANT leave even if they did fine the exit. He is stuck. Forever. With no escape. Because his consciousness now only exists in the digital realm.

Why he has all the keys so no one else can try them…
